Brief History of Colegio de Sta. Rosa

More than eleven scores ago, a Dominican Sister, M. Paula de la Santisima Trinidad, had set another milestone to the advancement of the Catholic Education in the Philippines. She came from Spain in 1749. The following year in 1750, she founded Colegio de Sta. Rosa, assuming the name “Beaterio”. Its first classes were opened on the feast of Saint Rose of Lima, August 30.  read more »
